New Look at "the Originals"
The Originals, the CW’s Vampire Diaries spinoff, may debut
Oct. 3, but there’s at least one reason to look forward to the second episode
(which airs in the show’s regular Tuesday at 8 p.m. ET time slot on Oct. 8):
Flashbacks! As you can see from our exclusive first look photo, even in the
1800s, Klaus (Joseph Morgan) and Marcel (Charles Michael Davis) had a
complicated relationship. Also, it’s nice to know the show wastes no time
getting Davis shirtless. Well done.
The episode, titled “House of the Rising Son,” finds Rebekah (Claire Holt)
arriving in New Orleans at the insistence of good brother Elijah (Daniel
Gillies) and worrying that bad brother Klaus is up to no good. Klaus, of course,
is scheming against his former-protégé-turned-rival Marcel for control of the
French Quarter in the present day, and Marcel has his own dangerous plan afoot.
Per the episode synopsis, “after a run-in with Marcel, Rebekah is reminded of
all the anger and disappointment Klaus has caused her throughout the years.”
Could that have something to do with Vampire Diaries and
Originals exec producer Julie Plec naming those pricey desiccation FX
shots when the Originals get daggered as an example of something she’ll tweak
for the spin-off? In general, you want to learn from past mistakes and make
things simpler or easier to execute, she tells EW in our Fall TV Preview issue
on newsstands now: “We can create our new version of it. If someone on Twitter
starts screaming about how it doesn’t match, then okay. You don’t want to get
those comments, but most people won’t notice.”

Somerhalder "Not Thrilled" over Tv spin-off
Ian Somerhalder said he's "not thrilled" that his show, "The Vampire
Diaries," is getting a spinoff, "The Originals."
In an interview with Digital Spy, Somerhalder said that he's excited for
"The Vampire Diaries" executive producer Julie Plec and his former
co-stars, but added that his "only concern is Damon" and "The
Vampire Diaries."
"Now, they're going to be taking these characters that mean so much to our
show. I'm insanely happy for everyone, but I'm not thrilled. Not that I mind
sharing, I just don't want to lose all these amazing actors on our show," Somerhalder said.
"The Originals" is taking several "The Vampire Diaries" actors including
Joseph Morgan, Daniel Gillies and Claire Holt, and following their adventures in
New Orleans. Somerhalder said he's worried about who The CW will find to take
their places on "The Vampire Diaries." "Are they gonna be good? Because it's The
CW, and everyone has to be pretty, and there aren't a lot of pretty people that
can act well," he said.
"The Originals" also stars Phoebe Tonkin, Daniella Pineda, Charles Michael
Davis, Leah Pipes and Danielle Campbell. Morgan told The Huffington Post he had
a connection with Davis before they were cast on the same show.
"I used to play poker with [Charles Michael Davis] when I lived in Los Angeles,"
Morgan said. "He texted me when he was auditioning and then he texted me again
when he was testing for it so I was thrilled when he got the role because our
characters, Klaus and Marcel, have a history. It's wonderful to know that it's
going to be him. He's such a smart guy and he's got a killer role ... pun
intended," he said with a laugh.

Hello, I am back with the Vampire Diaries Fansite as it has been a couple years of alot of other distractions and career building I wasn't able to keep up with the site. I will be updating the site as much as possible about the characters of The Vampire Diaries & The new hit series The Originals starring Joseph Morgan, Claire Holt and Phoebe Tonkin!
Both series premiere October 3rd, 2013! Tune in at 8pm to check it out!!

Update
Hello, long time no updates. So Sorry I have been extremely busy so I have not had time to update the site. As you all know The Vampire Diaries is on break until the new year! :( Sad face. The midseason finale episode ended with a bang when Klaus' father goes out to kill Klaus, bring down Elena (actually Katherine) down. The episode ends with Klaus' father Michael ending up killed. He will return in possibly the new year or next season as a ghost in a memory.
Elena and Damon both do not know what to do because Klaus is still alive! Stefan then goes to follow Klaus ending the episode with Stefan calling Elena telling her he is leaving town. Katherine is in the car also.
The new year's episodes should be thrilling and exciting as Stefan goes to find Klaus, and more Damon and Elena!
What do you all think Stefan is going to do? get revenge on Klaus, or start following his every order again? I will update the site as soon as I find out when the new episodes will air again!
Thank you all for checking back to the site and sorry for lack of updates there will be more updates to come soon!
-XOXO Sarah

!!!!Spoilers : September 15th, 2011 @ 8 p.m. CW The Vampire Diaries!!!!
Sorry for lack of updates! lately my internet has been slow and hasn't been wanting to work with weebly.
The vampire diaries will be starting up Sept. 15th @ 8 p.m. on the CW along with the new series by the same director and producers as VD is The Secret Circle starting Sept 15th @ 9p.m.! Some spoilers I have found are these so here you go! Vampire Diaries Season 3 Spoilers
VD will start back up on the CW on thursdays at 8pm! on September 15th , 2011 along with, The Secret Circle starting at 9pm on the CW the 15th of September after The Vampire Diaries.
Season 2 of the Vampire Diaries will be out on DVD August 22nd!!!
SEASON 3 SPOILERS: JULIE PLEC SPILLS ABOUT SEASON 3! INFORMATION ON WHAT'S TO COME WITH ELENA & STEFAN'S RELATIONSHIP!
Stefan (Paul Wesley) is clearly not going to be himself in The Vampire Diaries’ Season 3, but when he makes his inevitable return to Mystic Falls, how will his months of bloodlust affect his relationship with Elena ( Nina Dobrev) in Season 3?
Executive producer Julie Plec tells TVLine we’re in for a "very, very, very definitively different version of their relationship" next season. "Not just [in] one episode, but over a good part of the season," she explains. Sweetheart Stefan probably won’t be straight up cruel to his ladyfriend, but we have a feeling things won’t feel quite the same between the once super-close duo.
So, if Stefan starts having issues with Elena, who else will she turn to but the other fanged cutie who is in madly in love with her — his dreamy brother Damon (Ian Somerhalder)?
Of course, there’s always the chance Stefan’s bad boy ways will give Elena exactly what she’s always wanted: a nice combination of the best qualities from both brothers. ‘Cause as awful as Damon can be, there’s no denying there’s something dead sexy (pun intended) about his crazy eyes. Right?
Plus, as executive producer Kevin Williamson says, "As dark and as devilish and as nasty as he [Paul Wesley] is [as Ripper Stefan], it makes him more fun."
And fun is something TVD’s super-serious leading lady — and everybody in Mystic Falls — definitely needs more of!
SPOILERS ALERT! : ALARIC WILL HAVE SOME VAMPIRE-HUNTING COMPETITION IN SEASON 3!
star Jack Coleman is coming to Mystic Falls with an anti-vampire agenda, but according toTVLine,he isn’t the only vampire villain en route to Virginia.
Another new character, Eric, or "Indiana Jones with a stake instead of a whip," as TVLine’s Michael Ausiello describes him, is slated to make his debut in the fall. That sounds fun.
But how evil will these new mischief makers really be? After all, we’ve got Klaus on our hands now, and word on the street is he’s basically the baddest of the bad. But get this: Executive producer Julie Plec says Klaus "isn’t the worst baddie that we’ve seen so far and it will be fun to see who’s going to steal his thunder" in Season 3.
Could that somebody be stake-carrying, vampire-hating Eric?
SEASON 3 SPOILER! Joseph Morgan (Klaus) on Stefan and Klaus's Ripper Lifestyles.
It’s the question we’ve been pondering all summer: Where in the world are Klaus (Joseph Morgan) and Stefan (Paul Wesley)?
Newcomer Joseph Morgan gave Zap2It his best guess at Comic-Con. While he doesn’t have specifics (come on! no vengeful Vegas vacation?), Morgan insists the duo are "not in Mystic Falls" and we’ll likely see some of their foreign adventures on film. As for how long the duo have been departed, Morgan estimates it’s been a few months since Klaus coerced Stefan back into the "Ripper lifestyle." (Sounds kind of glamorous!) Morgan also revealed there’s a definite reason Klaus chose "good" Stefan over "bad" Damon — a much more obvious partner-in-crime. "He's not just done it on a whim. There's a goal; there's a plan," he dishes. Of course. This is The Vampire Diaries — every move is calculated!
Executive producers Julie Plec and Kevin Williamson also weighed in on Klaus’ motives for picking Mystic Falls’ resident good vamp for his journey. The dream team say we’ll learn a lot more about Klaus’ past come fall, but the biggest thing we’ll discover is that Klaus wants to "build a new family" by creating more hybrids, according to Plec. "Klaus is kind of the bastard child," Williamson says, and he’s craving a change.
Perhaps even more shocking is that Joseph Morgan says he’d like to see Klaus find a girlfriend next season — particularly of the lycanthropic kind. Of course, we’d totally hit that hybrid, but we’re not sure if he can find a willing participant in Mystic Falls!

Thursdays episode: The Last Day and what's to come...
![Picture](/uploads/3/5/3/3/3533203/525506.jpg?321)
The Last Day:
Started off as Elijah trying to go over ways to save Elena through the sacrifice, Coming up with using a old elixir that he was going to give to Katerina during her sacrifice but whinding up not needing to, Elena then goes up to talk to Damon about that it will be okay and the elixir will work, He comes up with a better idea ( on his thought) of feeding her vampire blood without her permission,Stefan ends up fighting with Damon and ends up with wood in him, Later in the episode Damon tries postponing the sacrifice with Klaus, Klaus then refuses to postpone anything and that he should think twice before trying anything to screw it up. Damon gets the idea of going and either killing or setting Tyler free from the tomb, In this process Damon whinds up getting bit by a werewolf Tyler, Klaus claims him as good as dead, because a werewolf bite to a vampire is fatal, as if you've seen the episodes of Rose going through the werewolf bite.
Katherine wakes Damon up saying that she had to bring the other vampire in, meaning Aunt Jenna being turned into a vampire , During the last minutes of the episode Jenna is in transition.
In the Next episode of the vampire diaries : The Sun Also Rises
We will get to see the Sacrifice , Klaus turning into his hybrid form of a cross of a vampire -werewolf, and see what Stefan ,Damon and Elijah will do to save Elena and Jenna .
Spoilers:
Klaus is going to be taking a special interest in Stefan Salvatore
In the promo, there's a grave titled "Gilbert" I assure you that it won't be Jenna's.
I will be posting some new Interviews and pictures in the Extras section and the pictures will be in the Photo Gallery So keep an eye out!

Exclusive Interview With Ian Somerhalder Actor of Damon Salvatore
Ian Somerhalder is a very talented and lucky guy. The actor helped launch the mind-bending series Lost back in its first season, playing the doomed character Boone Carlyle, one of the unlikely survivors of Oceanic Flight 815. Boone died by the end of that season, but Somerhalder reprised the role a couple of times in guest appearances. The actor kept working after his Lost gig ended, completing several films, including Pulse (2009) and The Tournament (2009), and six episodes of the acclaimed HBO dramatic series Tell Me You Love Me. He then landed yet another blockbuster hit series, The Vampire Diaries. All the ladies out there know that Somerhalder's evil vampire character, Damon Salvatore, represents one third of the show's complex, heart-tugging love triangle that also includes Nina Dobrev as the human teenager Elena and Paul Wesley as Stefan Salvatore, Damon's good-guy brother and Elena's on-and-off boyfriend.
The Vampire Diaries recently returned to the air for the second half of its breakout first season. These days, Somerhalder has been doing some serious cross-country flying, shooting The Vampire Diaries in Atlanta, Georgia, and then touching down in Hawaii to step in front of the cameras once again for the final season of Lost, which kicks off on Feb. 2 with an episode entitled "LA X." TVStar tracked Somerhalder down by phone in Atlanta recently and quizzed him about both shows. Following is Part I of our exclusive interview, with the emphasis on The Vampire Diaries. Look for Part II, with the emphasis on Lost – not that he can say much about the top-secret show -- in the next couple of days.
Some people snickered when the CW announced The Vampire Diaries. People were calling it Twilight for TV. How surprised were you by the show's success, and how hard was it not to go, "Nah-nah-nah, nah-nah-nah" to the doubters?
No. I mean, look, it was snicker-able. If you weren't a Twilight fan or you weren't into the vampire thing or you're oversaturated with Twilight, and you saw this show coming out on the CW, which is basically more vampires, like Twilight, but on television...if you're going to snicker, that's what you're going to snicker at. And there's an interesting thing that by virtue of this vampire oversaturation of the market, I think what people fail to realize is that within this vampire genre there's an immense amount of storytelling capability. There are a lot of great stories that come out of this. That's why it's so popular. So, to answer your question, was I surprised that people were snickering? No.
How about the show's success?
You always hope that what you do will do well. That's why you do something, in the hope that it'll take off, that you’ll enjoy yourself and that people will enjoy it with you. We never really had many expectations, which I think is the best way to protect yourself. I remember that (producer) Julie Plec made a joke one time. It was after we'd premiered and we were doing quite well. She said that we didn't really have any expectations, but secretly, we wanted to take over the world. That was pretty funny because you want your show to succeed, you want it to be good, and luckily we have writing that is superb and everything -- the acting, the way it's shot, the way it's directed -- works. As long as we can keep making it work, I don't think anybody can snicker anymore.
Damon is a bad guy, but brutally honest, too. And there's something to be said for that, right?
You know what? The more I hang out with Damon on a daily basis, the more I find interesting about him. The first thing you have to understand about Damon is that he's a very motivated and lonely guy. You put those two things together and you have a very dangerous individual, but the funny thing is -- and as trite as it sounds -- what he does, he does out of love. There are two relationships that he misses and that he wants back in his life -- his brother and his girl -- and he'll do anything he can to get them back. Imagine being 160 years old, with the amount of life experience that he would have, the amount of cynicism, and how lonely you'd be.
Where are things heading in the second half of the season?
We're going to start seeing more interaction between Damon and Elena. We're going to start seeing what Damon is ultimately after and he's going to get closer to it. We're going to see what he wants and how attainable it may or may not be. I understand that I'm being vague. Another thing that we're going to dive into is how complicated the relationship between Damon and Stefan is. It's getting more and more complicated every episode, and all the problems that we set up in the first half of the season we're going to really dive into now. So you have that Damon-Stefan-Elena triangle and the relationships between Stefan and Elena, and you'll see Damon and Elena. There's a whole other aspect to the Damon-Stefan-Elena relationship, and that's Katherine (the vampire who turned Damon and Stefan, and who's also played by Dobrev). We'll get into that a little bit, too, which is some of my favorite stuff to do. Going back in time to the late 1860's is so much fun.
How are you enjoying playing off Nina as she inhabits two different characters?
She's lucky. It's a great role for her. It's a great role for anyone. It's really interesting, because Nina loves playing Katherine, because Katherine is the antithesis of Elena. Elena is such a sweetheart, but she's extremely conflicted. She's under a lot of pressure. She's lost her parents. Her boyfriend is a vampire. Elena has a lot of stuff going on. Katherine, on the hand, is a lot like Damon. Actually, I should rephrase that. Damon ends up, as you'll see, being a lot like Katherine because a lot of Katherine's traits Damon picked up.
Would you say that Katherine is basically a female Damon?
In a way, she's a female version of Damon. So she's this sort of haphazardly funny, narcissistic good-time girl, and she gets what she wants. That's what makes Katherine so fun to be around, because Nina, like I do when I put on the eyes and the teeth and everything, becomes a completely different character. I become a completely different Damon when I go into vampire mode, and Nina becomes a completely different person when she gets into her corset, and it's a really, really cool transition to watch. It's fun to watch, and it's really fun to play off of.
We keep hearing stories about a Damon-Katherine kiss...
It's fun. You know what's really cool? Damon was so in love with Katherine, enough that he's spent the last 148 years figuring out a way to get back to her. I think you see that in Katherine. She's so much fun and she's so beautiful, and Damon is just enthralled with her. He's mesmerized by her. They're cute together, Damon and Katherine.

An Exclusive Interview With Paul Wesley actor of Stefan Salvatore In The Vampire Diaries
Exclusive Interview: 'VAMPIRE DIARIES' STAR PAUL WESLEY TALKS ABOUT LIFE PLAYING THE UNDEAD The star of The CW series discusses his good fortune, the vampire legacy, and where the show may be headed this season By CARLOS DELGADO, Associate Editor
Published 2/4/2010
Last year, the CW introduced THE VAMPIRE DIARIES. Before they knew it, they had a bona fide hit on their hands. Leading the charge is Paul Wesley, better known as Stefan, the sullen 160 year old vampire who is the love interest of the show’s lead, Elena, played by Nina Dobrev. iF Magazine had a chance to talk with Wesley about his blossoming stardom, why he likes playing vampires, and a little about where he hope THE VAMPIRE DIARIES is headed this season.
iF MAGAZINE: How does it feel to don the mantle of the next hip vampire a la Kiefer Sutherland or Brad Patt?
PAUL WESLEY: Amazing. It’s great to be a part of that lineage. I’m a huge fan of INTERVIEW WITH THE VAMPIRE. I love films like SHADOW OF THE VAMPIRE with Willem Dafoe and the old Dracula films. So being a part of that mythology is fantastic. It’s an honor.
iF: Do you try to borrow at all from any of your vampire predecessors?
WESLEY: Maybe subconsciously because I’ve watched so many of those films. But I try to create Stefan from a human place of a seventeen year kid who is put into a situation, and now he’s a 160 year old man in this body. It’s kind of unique unto itself. All the circumstances and situations and characters are unique and individual. So I try to just stick to what the script is and the dialog and the story and not mimic too much.
iF: Have you read any of THE VAMPIRE DIARIES books?
WESLEY: I hadn’t read the books before I auditioned. But after I got the part, I found out it was based on books. I had like a week before I started shooting after I got the part, so I plowed through the books as quickly as I could.
iF: So now that you’re in this high profile position as the male lead of a very successful show, how does it feel to be entering into “sex symbol” territory?
WESLEY:I’m oblivious to it, in all sincerity. Hearing it kind of makes me blush. I don’t get out much, so I’m sort of oblivious to it. I have kind of a very homely life. I sit at home and I work. The idea of having female admirers makes me blush and makes me feel good.
iF: Who do you think Stefan loves more, Elena (Nina Dobrev) or his long lost love, Katherine?
WESLEY: Elena. I answer that with no hesitation.
iF: Why do you say that?
WESLEY: Because he realizes after meeting Elena that he never loved Katherine.
iF: You think Stefan never had any feelings for Katherine?
WESLEY: Yeah. It’s kind of like being in a relationship, you think you’re completely in love, you’re infatuated, and then you meet another person and you go, “Oh my God, what was I thinking?” And it’s kind of like that but a little different because that person also gave me eternal life. His obsession with Katherine was something that was finally broken by this human. And not for a 160 years, no one could break this obsession. And that’s why he would die and breathe for Elena for the rest of his life. For the rest of her life, I should say.
iF: What do you think this season is gearing towards?
WESLEY: I think it’s gearing towards Damon and Stefan not being the Damon and Stefan that you think and switching roles and Damon suffering and Stefan victorious and vice versa. I think Damon being good and Stefan being bad. I just want to explore all the aspects. I hope they do. And the fact is, they don’t tell us much. I know only the things that I’ve shot.
iF: Are you looking forward to exploring evil Stefan?
WESLEY: Absolutely. I want to explore every part, every human… even you and I, we’re capable of anything. I mean to a certain extent. We’re not sociopaths. But if we’re pushed? I want to explore that.
iF: As far as the town council goes, how much are they going to figure out?
WESLEY: You know, I think that that’s going to be the sort of ticking time bomb. That’s kind of the thing that’s going to keep viewers watching. They’re going t o go, “Uh oh. When is this going to happen?” It kind of makes the stakes higher.
